In the following we will explain to you step by step how to create a Coupon.

Basic functions

1. Please go into After logging in to affilicon.net, select the respective product to “Edit” -> “Advanced in the Administration-area, choose "Edit" → “Advanced Settings” and enable Coupons.Then click in the left of the blue tab on “Coupons” -> “New” . Save the result.

2. In the blue "Menu"-list on the left side of the Administration-area select “% Coupons” → “+ New” and create a new Coupon.

3. Please enter here Enter the title of the Coupon and the desired Coupon code.

4. Select in In “Assign Products” all the select those available products for which this Coupon shall be valid. When By clicking on the right arrow, these products will be transferred into from the box "Available products" to the box “Selected Products”products”.

5. Please select Enter the value of the Coupon, its charges and time limit.

Coupon types in cart widget

If you would like to use the coupons combined with our Cart Cart cart widget, please contact us at clients@affilicon.net. Then we We will activiate these special coupon types for your Affilicon affilicon account.

coupon Coupon type	descriptionDescription
Single-Coupon	The single coupon Single-Coupon is valid for exactly one product in the cart widget, but can be assigned to multiple products in the administration Administration-area. The coupon is automatically redeemed in the shopping cart (best-price-combination) for the product with the highest discount. The end customer will receive the best possible deal . (this will reduces , which should reduce your support requests ) .   Example: You order three different products ("Marketing Coaching" 200 €, "Premium XL" 400 € and "Premium XXL" 600 €). The single coupon with 50% discount is valid for all products. According to the "Best Price Combination", the product with the highest discount is granted the discount. In this case it would be the "Premium XXL product" from 600 € to 300 €. Image Modified
Multi-Coupon	The multi Multi- coupon Coupon applies to all products with the same coupon code in the cart widget. You can assign the code to specific products. This allows you to decide, which products are affected to your coupon action. Can be redeemed only once per cart.   Example: For example you want You would like to start a Christmas-deal , but these coupons are should be for . These "Christmas"-coupons should apply only to certain products. Here you can now include Include or exclude certain products in the coupon deal. Simply drag the products for your Christmas-deal into the "Selected Products products" box ( see See screenshot). Cart widget-Coupon	The coupon code is valid for the whole cart widget. The voucher can be redeemed directly in the widget cart and accordingly , so that the discount is accordingly deducted from the total amount.   Example: You want would like to order the three products " (Premium XL, Premium XXL and Marketing Coaching " ) and put them all in the cart widget. Now you can enter your Cart widget cart coupon -Coupon in the field " coupon code Coupon Code" and get a discount on your entire shopping cart. Countdown function

Below the title Under “Time limit” you may can set up a countdown via , using the button “Enable Countdown”. As soon as your customer types enters the Coupon into coupon code into the order form, a countdown defined by you will be activated . This looks as follows:(See screenshot).

The note “The redeemed Coupon will expire in xx:xx minutes” will appear. The countdown will then count down from your determined time until 00:00 minutes.

Other functions

You can also include an activated Coupon into coupon in your order form by attaching the parameter “gs_code=XXX” (XXX = The title of your Couponcoupon) to the link of your order form. After that it will not be necessary anymore for the end customer to enter the Coupon into in the order form.

A link to such an order form may look like this:

The advantage is, that you will receive fewer customer inquiries by customers who have forgotten to redeem the Coupon code in the order form.

Artificial shortage

With artificial shortages you generate an additional purchase incentive. Limit the number of uses (e.g., "The first 50 customers receive 10 € discount") or define an expiration date (e.g., "This voucher expires on 31.05.2017").
