Can I also do international sales with affilicon?

With affilicon you can sell your products without difficulty to customers all over the world.

We can generate order forms and invoices in the following languages:

  • German

  • English

  • French

  • Spanish

  • Italian


As a matter of course the sales emails and thank you page will be delivered in the specific language as well.


How can I choose the languages in which my order forms will be shown?


You can add the product description in German, English, Spanish, French or Italian by clicking on the respective flag symbol.  


Enter the descriptions in the different languages. Only those languages which you mark in the specific fields will be activated. So if for example you need a German, an English, and a Spanish order form, please only enter the texts in those three languages. Then, Italian and French versions won’t be offered.

The browser will detect the language of the customer and opens automatically the order form in the corresponding language. If necessary, your client may also change the language shown via the drop-down menu on the top right of the order form:


Can I also define the language of the order form manually?

If required you can also preselect the language of the order form. You can easily assign specific parameter to your sales link, then the order form will be shown by default in the preselected language. Of course the customer can change the language again by clicking on the flag symbol (top right).

The parameter are as follows:

  • German: &lang=de

  • English: &lang=en

  • French: &lang=fr

  • Italian: &lang=it

  • Spanish: &lang=es

Here is an example of a sales link of a preselected English order form:

Is it possible to enable or disable specific countries for the sale of products?

Independent of the chosen languages of the order form, you can include or exclude certain countries from the sale of your products.

To consider when selling physical products:

  • If there are no shipping costs set up for a certain area, those countries will not be offered as shipping address in the order form.

  • You can additionally enter individual shipping costs for particular countries, which will overwrite data for this area.

  • You can find the options for shipping costs for each product when clicking on “Edit” and choosing the tab “Shipping costs”.


To consider when selling digital products:

  • As digital products do not necessarily require a shipping address, these can generally be acquired worldwide.

Does affilicon also support the complicated VAT-law of the European Union for digital products (MOSS)?

An adjustment of the Value Added Tax Act has been introduced in 2015. It states, that all electronic products must be charged with the turnover tax of the EU country, where the end-consumer is residing.

Considering the 28 existing member states of the EU and partially up to five different VAT rates per country, this alteration means considerable effort for a producer who sells electronic products or services throughout the EU. Several requirements in regard to an international payment system are laid down alongside as well.


We have applied this catalog of requirements to it's full extent in all possible product categories. Furthermore, we implemented it on our platform and launched it 1st January 2015 on time. This means, wherever you sell your product, we'll always apply the correct value-added tax.

This is the same whether it's a book that will be physically delivered to Austria and taxed with 10%VAT, whether it's an eBook bought in France which only needs to be assessed with the reduced tax rate of 5.5%, or a webinar where the tax due on the sale might be up to 17% in Luxembourg for example.


As we are acting as a re-seller and you're only selling your products to us, the only thing you will need to take care of is handing in our billing to your tax consultant.


The central MOSS-reports for the Federal Central Tax Office need to be done exclusively by us. Because we, affilicon, will serve in any case as the official, legal, and fiscal vendor of the product (the so-called “merchant of record”).
