Create Hop-Links for Affiliates / Landing Pages

In this article we would like to show you how to generate Hop-Links for affiliates.

Hop-Link is a referral tracking URL. The customer is directed to the vendor's site and the affiliate is notified about the customer's origin.

To create a Hop-Link for your affiliates, please do the following:

1. Please log in to www.affilicon.net and click “Products”.

2. Click in the left bar “Landing Pages”.

3. By clicking the “+New” button you will get to the following view:

4. Enter the purpose at “Description” for your internal use.

5. Please fill in the URL of your landing page at “Landing Page URL”.

    In case one of your affiliates maintains an individual landing page and wishes to link directly to the affilicon order form, enter the link of the affilicon order form in this box.

6. Click “Save”.

7. A Hop-Link will be created automatically. It has the following structure:

8. Select “Copy Hop-Link” to duplicate the generated link. Then a new window will open.

    If the affiliate maintains an individual landing page, please enter into the field “affiliateID” the affilicon account name of the affiliate.

All commissions generated through this link will then be assigned to the respective affiliate. The box “trackingID” is optional and can be used to sort and organize your landing pages more efficiently.
