Can I also sell my products on international markets with affilicon?
With affilicon you can sell your products without difficulties to customers all over the world.
We can generate your order forms and invoices in the following languages:
German
English
French
Spanish
Italian
Of course the sales e-mails as well as your thank you page will also be delivered in the specified language.
How can I choose languages for my order forms?
You can add your product description in German, English, Spanish, French or Italian by clicking on the respective flag symbol.
Enter your product descriptions in the languages listed above. Only those languages which you have previously marked in the specific fields will be activated.
For example, if you need a German, an English and a Spanish order form, please enter your description texts only in those three languages.
Then, Italian and French versions will not be available for your customer. The browser detects the customer language and opens automatically the order form in the corresponding language.
If necessary, your customer can also change the language via the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the order form.
Can I also define the language of the order form manually?
If necessary, you can also preselect your order form language. If you assign a specific language parameter to your sales link, the order form will be shown in the preselected language by default.
Of course your customer can change the preselected language again by clicking on the flag symbol in the upper-right corner of the page.

Is it possible to enable or disable specific countries for the product sales?
Independently from the chosen languages of your order form, you can include or exclude certain countries from the sale of your products.
Please consider while selling physical products:
If there are no shipping costs set up for a certain region, your customer will not be able to choose these countries as a possible shipping address in the order form.
You can additionally enter individual shipping costs for particular countries. The individual shipping costs for the chosen countries will be displayed in your order form instead of the shipping costs for this region.
You can find the options for shipping costs for each product under “Edit” → “Shipping costs”.
Please consider while selling digital products:
As digital products do not necessarily require a shipping address, they can generally be acquired worldwide.
Does affilicon also support the complicated VAT-law of the European Union for digital products (MOSS)?
The value-added tax adjustment has been introduced in 2015. According to the VAT adjustment, all digital products must be charged with the turnover tax of the EU country where the end consumer is residing.
Considering the 28 existing EU member states and partially up to five different VAT rates per country, this alteration means considerable effort for a producer who sells digital products or services throughout the European Union.
The international payment system must meet several requirements as well.
We have applied this list of requirements to its full extent in all possible product categories. Furthermore, we implemented it into our platform and launched it on the 1st January 2015 exactly on time.
This means, wherever you sell your product, we will always apply the correct value-added tax. It does not matter whether it is a physical book to be delivered to Austria and taxed with 10% VAT, or an eBook bought in France which only needs to be taxed with a reduced tax rate of 5.5%, or a webinar by which the value-added tax might be up to 17% in Luxembourg, for example.
As we are acting as a re-seller and you are only selling your products to us, the only thing you will need to take care of is to provide your tax consultant with our billing.
All central MOSS-reports for the Federal Central Tax Office will be done exclusively by us. Because AffiliCon GmbH is in any case the official, legal, and fiscal vendor of the product (the so-called “merchant of record”).
