Pay What You Want (Beta version)

This payment method allows your customers to set a retail price for which they would be willing to pay for your product. You can also let them buy it for free.

Attention: This feature is a beta version. Some functionality is missing. However, standard purchases are already running stable. Please contact clients@affilicon.net for further information.

What is “Pay What You Want”?

“Pay What You Want” is a pricing strategy where the customers purchase goods or services for an individual desired price.

Customers decide on their own which price they want to pay for their product, whether they would like to pay a minimum price or to suggest a higher price for the product.

A product owner can determine a minimum (floor) price for his product as a guidance for his potential customers or even set a zero floor price.

To activate “Pay Want You Want” for your product, please do the following:

1. After logging in to affilicon.net, create a new product in your administration area or choose an already existing product. Click "Edit".

2. Scroll down in the “Product data” tab to the section “Prices and Affiliate Commissions”.

3. Activate “Pay what you want” by clicking.

4. Set your default price. This is your recommended price.

Please, note: The recommended price should be greater than or equal to minimal gross price. You can also leave this field empty. In this case, the input field "Set price" in your order form will also be empty.

5. Set your minimal gross price (zero price is also possible).

6. Click “Save”.
