AffiliCon Privacy Policy Template

AffiliCon GmbH highly values the security of your online sales and the conformity of your customer’s data. Thus, our platform has been updated on the 25th of May 2018 to meet the new requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation.

You can find below a template for your declaration of data protection regarding AffiliCon. You can incorporate this template into your privacy policy to inform visitors of your website about the collection and processing of personal data by AffiliCon.

AffiliCon

We have outsourced all or part of our online sales and payment processing to AffiliCon GmbH, Hohenzollernring 5, 50672 Cologne. When paying via AffiliCon, personal data such as first name, last name, e-mail address, billing address or payment data are collected for processing the order. AffiliCon processes your data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (processing for the performance of a contract). You have the possibility to revoke your consent to data processing at any time. A revocation has no effect on the validity of data processing operations in the past.

The data is initially stored up to the statute of limitations due to the conclusion of a contract (e.g. by purchasing a product). In accordance with Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR, personal data (such as the invoice address and purchase amount) that needs to be stored due to commercial and tax law obligations will also be kept with regard to the respective deadlines.

We have also outsourced our affiliate program (affiliate marketing) to AffiliCon, by means of which advertising cost reimbursement can be earned through the placement of advertisements and links to corresponding landing pages. AffiliCon uses cookies in this context in order to be able to trace the referral of orders by the affiliate. Among other things, AffiliCon can recognize that a partner link has been clicked on a specific website and that a purchase has been made. The storage of „AffiliCon cookies“ is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in this, as only this cookie enables the advertising of a product through an affiliate. Further information on the handling of personal data by AffiliCon GmbH can be found in the privacy policy for consumers of AffiliCon.
